Council continues to increase spending
      The world is in recession, Ontario has a $25 billion dollar deficit, and the federal government is in the same situation as the province, but the Town of Innisfil must be rolling in money, because council can create a new position at a salary of $120,0000 per year plus benefits for a director of public works. And want to hire a landscape technologist.

Province acting dictatorial
      Once again, The Scope has the audacity to publish Barrie MPP Aileen Carroll’s comments on the boundary change. The Ontario government’s support of this lady is dictatorial and undemocratic, by just advising Innisfil that Barrie is taking land, future tax dollars and revenue, without the support of local residents.

      We moved to the Belle Ewart area 10 years ago, and recently had to call upon Innisfil Fire and Rescue Service.
