Paramedic toy drive underway

County of Simcoe paramedics are pleased to announce the launch of their seventh annual toy drive, which benefits local children and families during the holiday season.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted at various locations and Santa Claus parades across the county.

Since its inception, the drive has collected more than 14,600 toys, $16,000 and 7,000 pounds of food from residents. All donations will be distributed to local children and families in need by charitable organizations working in partnership with paramedics. Residents are being asked for their continued generosity and support this year.

Donations can be made at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, located at 1110 Highway 26 in Midhurst, during regular business hours and at all paramedic stations. Locally, donations can also be dropped off at 2394 Victoria Street in Stroud, and Unit 6/7 Artesian Industrial Parkway in Bradford.
