Council spending is getting careless
      After reading the Nov. 18 edition of The Scope, I have one saying, 'drunken sailors'. That is what Innisfil council is spending like! Yes, Innisfil Beach Road needs work done badly, I have been watching town staff fill potholes full of snow and water with a couple shovels full of asphalt and leave for the last 10 years.

Catholic school funding wastes tax dollars
      I would like to add my voice to that of Barry Kendall, and sure many others, when they express anger over York-Simcoe MPP Julia Munro’s column, which appeared in the Nov. 4 edition of The Scope. Kendall’s reaction accurately describes my feelings on the subject, and the frustration many people feel with this continued waste of public funds.
