Barrie Fair relocation decision delayed
      Its going to be early 2011 before Essa council makes a decision on a proposal by the Barrie Agricultural Society to relocate to a proposed site east of Ivy. A report on the public meeting on rezoning the property at the corner of the 20th Sideroad and the 10th Concession will not be coming to council next month. A public hearing by Simcoe County will also be required.

Boynton steps in for Jackson on police board
      Councillor Rod Boynton has replaced mayor Brian Jackson on the South Simcoe Police Services Board. Innisfil council passed a resolution allowing Boynton to take a seat on the board, during a meeting last week. Boynton will replace Jackson on an interim basis, until the mayor's legal issues are resolved.
