Water testing scam reported in Essa
      Nottawasaga OPP has received information that in mid-November, some residents were approached at their front doors by sales persons insisting that Essa Township requires home water systems to be tested two times per year. During the service calls, Police the 'business representative' attempted to sell reverse osmosis systems.

Police launch Festive RIDE programs
      On Sunday November 29th, all six police agencies in Simcoe County kicked off their 2009 Festive RIDE campaign at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston. The campaign was launched in conjunction with the Barrie/Simcoe Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving's annual Red Ribbon Campaign.
