School board will review guidelines
      The Ministry of Education has released changes to its Pupil Accommodation Review guidelines. Public consultation meetings will be held throughout the region over the next few weeks, to present a summary of the changes and how they can be addressed in revisions to the Simcoe County District School Board’s Pupil Accommodation Review Policy.

A light food donation
     Alcona Beach Sobeys owner Kevin Augustyn received a recognition plaque from Nantyr Shores Secondary School Thursday Night Lights organizers Daniel Bone and Lauren Woodcock last week. Sobeys donated hot dogs, drinks and other refreshments for the event, which took place at the school recently.
