Baguley takes another stab at mayor’s post Barb Baguley, former Innisfil deputy mayor and councillor, has entered the race for the mayor’s seat. Baguley registered at the New Town Hall Friday, becoming the first official mayoral candidate in the upcoming municipal election. SITE: Development “It is time for Innisfil to choose a strong leader who can unite council, work effectively with staff, listen to our residents and take positive action to meet the needs of this community,” said Baguley. “I believe I am that person. The strongest and most important partnership in Innisfil is between council and the public. As mayor, I will create an environment where it is easier for residents to meet with council formally and informally.
