The celebration continues for bantam Wolfpack lacrosse

The local lacrosse champions from the Innisfil Wolfpack bantam team attended the Toronto Rock opening night game Jan. 15.

Each year, the Toronto Rock's opening game is known at Ontario Lacrosse Association’s Night of Champions, and as reported last year, the Innisfil Wolfpack bantam team was the provincial C champions for 2009.

Being given the opportunity to attend the game and show their championship pride was something the entire team looked forward to celebrating.

The team would like to thank the group of parents, family members and players from other teams who joined them to celebrate this success. The highlight of the night was when each teams championship picture was displayed on the big screen at the Air Canada Centre and there were 15,000 fans loudly cheering and applauding each teams accomplishment. After such an exciting year, all the players are excited to register for the upcoming lacrosse season to see what successes they can achieve in 2010.
