Theatre needs volunteers for set building

      On Saturday April 17th Cookstown United Church will be the venue for a concert of opera and selections from popular musicals, performed by the soloists and chorus of the Opera Belcanto of South Simcoe. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. More information will be available closer to the date, but residents can also call 458-0330.

Chili Challenge planned for March 20

      Chili Challenge: March 20th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We have lots of wannabe chili chefs, so come out and decide who is Innisfil's champion chili cooker. For more information, contact Betty at 436-1144. For $5, get a bowl, bun, bottle of water, and ballot. Try all the chili and select a favourite. We have police officers, firefighters, politicians, and perhaps your neighbour competing.
