School board hosting annual Circle of Learning Conference for parents April 17

Parents, mark the calendar for the Simcoe County District School Board's second annual Circle of Learning Conference.

Entitled Linking Parents to Student Success, the event will take place at the education centre in Midhurst on April 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free conference is being organized by the SCDSB Parent Involvement Committee, and is funded through the Ministry of Education's base grants for parent engagement. It will include keynote speakers David Booth and Jack Weiner, and features workshops on math, Kindergarten, SMART Board technology, Facebook and the transition from elementary to secondary schooling.
