Cans and bottles will be collected in selected areas within Innisfil this Sunday (March 28) from noon to 4 p.m. The drop off is from 4 to 4:30 p.m. at the Alcona Beach Club at 2044 25th Sideroad in Innisfil.

This new team, the under-12 competitive girls, are a welcomed addition to the roster of rep-level, competitive teams that will be playing in the York Region Soccer League

YRSL), representing the Innisfil Soccer Club. The team has been practising twice a week since October, in preparation for an exciting summer 2010 outdoor season.

Funds are required to pay for expenses, such as tournaments and athletic equipment, including soccer balls and nets, disc markers, scrimmage vests, speed training ladders and rings, a collapsible bench and a large tent.

So, as part of spring cleanup donate your plastic and glass beer, wine and liquor bottles, beer cans and wine tetra-paks in order to support the team and make your contribution to youth sports.
